Call me shallow

I went out and bought a new pair of running shoes, which I happen to think are rather lovely.

Now I have to admit that I don't run and I wanted them for walking... and that actually is for walking around Bangkok when I go off on my hols in a few weeks. Does that qualify as cheating?

Well to argue my case they are ultra-light and I got a very good discount, but even more they have pink laces as well as white so I have 'two-look'shoes.

No? Not persuaded? Ok... you can call me shallow.

  1. And with a nearly zero drop they don't come much more shallow :)

  2. They'll go beautifully with your spangly nail varnish!

  3. I join you in this guilty pleasure! I have a pair of fell running shoes for holiday walking. They're pretty (last pair red, this pair purple), light (195g!) and are really comfy for all day touristing. I think your shoes are rather lovely too!

    1. Yours sound great. What make? Mine are Brooks Puredrift and are so comfy. I'm only asking in case I wear these out and need a bit of choice... nothing to do with liking purple of course!

  4. Inov-8! I got these ones at half price on the Rat Race website so was very pleased. My eyes are on a red, white and blue pair next! The sizing are a bit big and I have to go down a half size from my normal.

    1. Now that sounds like a good deal! I'll be on the lookout. Btw Brook sizing is the opposite of Inov-8 as I'm usually a 39 or 40 and these Puredrift are a 41. I think it's my first ever size 41 and makes my feet sound scarily huge.
